Privacy Policy for Introduce Myself: Contact Card

Last updated: June 22, 2026

Introduce Myself is built so your information stays yours. The app works entirely on your device, and we never collect, see, or receive any of it.

The short version

Introduce Myself runs fully offline on your iPhone. As the developer, we do not operate any servers that receive your data, and the app does not send your information anywhere. In plain terms:

  • We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information.
  • There are no accounts, no logins, and no cloud — nothing to sign up for.
  • There is no tracking, no analytics, and no advertising.
  • Everything you create stays on your device, and you can edit or delete it at any time.
  • When you share a card, you share it directly with someone you choose — it never passes through us.

01Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Introduce Myself: Contact Card (the "app"), developed by Oleksandr Tsebrii ("we," "us," or "our"), handles your information. It applies to the Introduce Myself: Contact Card app on iOS. By using the app, you can rely on the practices described here.

02Information we do not collect

Introduce Myself does not collect any personal data. The app has no backend server, and we operate no service that receives your information. Specifically, we do not collect, transmit, or have any access to:

  • your name, contact details, or the contents of your profile and cards;
  • your emergency or medical information;
  • contacts you save in the app;
  • your location;
  • device identifiers or advertising identifiers;
  • usage, behavioral, or analytics data.

The app is designed to function fully offline and does not send your data to us or to any third party.

03Information you store on your device

To do what it does, the app lets you create and store information directly on your device, including:

  • Your main profile — such as name, phone, email, job title, links, photo, and any other fields you choose to add.
  • Your cards — filtered views of your profile that share only the fields you select.
  • Emergency and medical information — such as blood type, allergies, conditions, medications, and emergency contacts.
  • Saved contacts — details of people you choose to keep.

This information is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. It is not uploaded to us or to anyone else. You can view, edit, or delete it at any time within the app.

04How sharing works

When you share a card — by displaying a QR code, exporting a vCard (.vcf) or PDF file, using AirDrop, or adding a card to your Contacts — you are choosing to share your own information directly with a recipient or app you select. This happens on your device or directly between devices; it does not pass through any server operated by us. We are not part of the exchange and never receive a copy of what you share.

Once you share information with someone, how that person or app handles it is outside our control and is not governed by this policy.

05Health & emergency information

Emergency and medical information you enter is treated like all other data: it is stored only on your device and is never collected by or transmitted to us. It is kept separate from your shareable cards and is not included in your QR codes, exported files, or any card you share — unless you deliberately choose to share it.

This information is provided by you for your own convenience. It is not a medical record and is not a substitute for professional medical care.

06Device permissions

Depending on the features you use, the app may ask your permission to access certain parts of your device. Any access is used only on your device to provide that feature, and the data is never sent to us:

  • Contacts — to add a card to your Contacts, or to import details you choose to save.
  • Camera — to scan a QR code or capture an image for your profile.
  • Photos — to set a profile photo or save a QR code image.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app. The app does not request access it does not need for a feature you are using.

07Device backups & iCloud

Introduce Myself does not use iCloud, cloud sync, or any service that copies your data off your device. However, if you have enabled iCloud Backup or encrypted device backups in iOS, your device's backup — which is created and managed by Apple, not by us — may include the app's on-device data. Those backups are controlled by you and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to them.

08No tracking, analytics, or ads

The app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking tools, and no third-party software development kits (SDKs) that collect data. We do not use cookies, the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), or any cross-app or cross-site tracking. Because we do not track you, the app does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt.

09App Store statistics

When you download or use an app from the App Store, Apple may collect certain information under Apple's own privacy policy and may provide developers with aggregated, anonymized statistics, such as total download counts. This is handled by Apple, not by us, and does not identify you to us.

10Children's privacy

Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects no personal information from children. The app is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). Any information stored in the app is entered and controlled by the device's user; if a child uses the app, a parent or guardian is responsible for the information stored on the device.

11Keeping & deleting your data

We retain none of your data, because we never receive it. The information you create is kept on your device for as long as you keep it there. You can delete any item within the app, and deleting the app from your device removes the data the app stored locally — subject to any device backups you have separately created.

12Your privacy rights

Privacy laws such as the EU and UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) give people rights over personal information that a business collects about them. Because we do not collect, store, process, sell, or share any personal information, we hold no personal data about you to access, correct, port, or delete, and we have no personal information to sell or share. We do not sell or share personal information.

You already hold and control all of your information directly on your device, where you can review, edit, export, or delete it at any time.

13Security

Your information is protected by the security of your own device — for example, your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and iOS's built-in data protection. We recommend keeping your device locked and your software up to date. Because your data never leaves your device through us, it is not exposed to the risks of cloud storage or transmission to a server.

14Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version at this address. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
